The courting of McDaniels was well underway on Sunday, immediately following the conclusion of many teams seasons, when the Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville and San Francisco 49ers all expressed interest in speaking to the former Denver Broncos head coach regarding their head coaching vacancies. The Rams fired long-time head coach Jeff Fisher back on Dec. 12 and Jacksonville relieved Gus Bradley of his duties a week later.
